Just popped into blogland to paste this link to a Romantic Times article http://www.romantictimes.com/2009/07/is-romance-for-smart-people.php. It's well worth a read for those of us who are sick of defending the genre and our need to read/write it.
Romance writers and readers are not fools. If only some people out there would stop treating us that way!
