- This is a fun, original story with a twist at the end. Sexy and entertaining to read.
- Quite an enjoyable read. I couldn't help feeling I was involved with a scene from a category romance {ahh, that's not a bad thing seeing as I'm a category writer! Lol}
- Great read! You kept the 'mystery element' up well with well developed characters.
I wish I'd received all the comments before I sent my final version to the editor. There were elements they picked up on which I could've developed more, but there isn't much I can do about it now. I'm feeling very strange about the whole thing knowing it'll be in print, flaws and all, and the audience who reads it will be my fellow writers - new writers who'll be forgiving, and published writers with oodles of experience and the ability to see the bad bits from a mile away. My, oh, my... now I'm pertrified!
Oh, never mind. At least I can say it's my first short story in the genre, and it'll be published. I should be dancing around with glee. But the old 'naked, exposed and running through the streets' analogy keeps coming to mind. I think I need to work out a bit more!

You should definitely dance - you can now say PUBLISHED - and know that no matter what YOU DID IT. And don't worry about an wobbly bits as Daniel Cleaver (of Bridget Jones) would say. All though it is pretty sad about having to wait so long for your results. I am looking forward to getting my copy.
Hey Jenn,
Thanks for the support. I always have mixed feelings when I get comp results.
I hope you like the story. I'm honestly feeling a bit nervous about it all, which is rather ridiculous! Lol :-)
Can't wait to read your story Mon...
Take what you think you need from judge's comments. So don't get down - you are in the anthology!!! Yippee!!
Thanks, Eleni. Funny how you can feel a little negative about something so positive.
And Happy Orthodox Easter to you! Hope you had a lovely time celebrating :-)
